Flexion Mobile reaches an agreement with Fingersoft to publish Hill Climb Racing and Hill Climb Racing 2 in alternate App Stores
The worldwide popular mobile casual games Hill Climb Racing and Hill Climb Racing 2 will be made available on other app stores thanks to an agreement that Flexion, a games marketing company has reached with Fingersoft. In Q2 2023, Flexion will make the games available on the Amazon Appstore, ONE store, Samsung Galaxy Shop, and Huawei's AppGallery.
"Flexion is adding an average of 10% to a game's Google Play revenue by taking it to the alternative app stores," says Jens Lauritzson CEO of Flexion. "We have more than 100 people with expertise and experience, and technology in growing revenue and audiences on the alternative app stores. No one else can offer this. We can't wait to make Fingersoft's hit games climb even higher."
Over two billion installs and over EUR180 million in net revenue have been generated by Hill Climb Racing and Hill Climb Racing 2 combined across all mobile platforms. Through monetization, platform relationships, and new user acquisition, Flexion's distribution services will increase income and attract new players from the alternative app stores.
There won't be much initial investment or work required of the Fingersoft team. By partnering with Flexion, Fingersoft will have the chance to expand its user base outside of its current distribution channels, increase brand and product recognition, and attract new customers.
Both Hill Climb Racing and Hill Climb Racing 2 is physics-based racing games that test players in specialized hill climbing situations with various cars. Both games are well favored by players and may be played for free. Hill Climb Racing received over 100 million downloads in its first year after becoming on sale in 2012. The most successful arcade racing game on Google Play at all-time is Hill Climb Racing 2.
Flexion had a game-changing year in 2022 witnessing good growth
Flexion had a game-changing 2022. In its last quarterly report (Q3 2022) the company announced it reached the $20M revenue milestone with quarterly revenue growth of 138%.
"The alternative distribution market has traditionally been difficult to evaluate for both developers and investors due to the lack of official performance data," continues Jens. "But the strong growth in Flexion is an indication that the alternative app stores have reached such a level that even the biggest independent developers like Fingersoft are starting to take an interest." he concluded.
